What is Encompass?
The Encompass platform reduces the cost of KYC and improves time to revenue by providing KYC due diligence on demand, powered by intelligent process automation.

Do I need to involve IT to set up Encompass?
Encompass is a Software as a Service (Saas) solution. This means there is no need for expensive hardware or major upfront costs. It is easy to use, easy to understand and easy to access. It is cloud based so anyone with an internet connection can access Encompass.
what am I committing to subscribing to Encompass?
Encompass subscription is available on a 12 month contract. We’re confident you’ll love it, but for peace of mind there is a 30 day cancellation policy.

how does billing work within Encompass?
Your monthly Encompass subscription fee gives you access to the KYC solution. If you sign up for one of our packs, training is also included. Within Encompass you will have the ability to purchase reports and documents from information providers.
Using Encompass, there are two ways for you to be billed for your data charges through the different information providers we include in our product;
- on demand – Encompass will bill you for costs incurred when requesting searches and reports from the information providers; there are no additional charges from Encompass for doing so
- direct – the data provider will bill you for your search costs, and an Account will need to exist with the information provider
- Some reports are free from providers such as Companies House and many global regulators and registries
what does account set up involve?
Because you will be purchasing corporate, property and personal data products in Encompass, you need to set up and approve a business account with your selected broker or bureau. This allows you to make purchases in Encompass as and when you need and provides the convenience of a monthly invoice of itemised transactions.
how long after sign up can I start using Encompass?
Once you’ve signed up to Encompass, we will agree the time you want to undertake training and activate users in your firm. An Encompass account manager will be in touch with you to ensure a smooth account set up and onboarding process.
Encompass have a dedicated Customer Success Team who are on hand to assist with any onboarding questions and ongoing account management.

what information sources are available through Encompass?
Encompass boasts more connections to industry-leading providers of UK and global information than any other KYC provider. Our unique platform enables users to pull in reports from providers such as Bureau van Dijk, Creditsafe, Dun & Bradstreet, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance and Refinitiv World Check in to a single standardised view.
Encompass offers four main information categories to help inform your customer onboarding decision making:
- business information
- AML screening, including PEPs and adverse media
- electronic ID verification
