On the recent webinar with Partner Jim Sarantinos we learnt how Encompass has helped Ferrier Hodgson when it comes to business development. Jim and his team use Encompass to quickly understand the security position of a company and keep informed about companies in distress. By being across all of ‘the moving parts’, Jim and his team are able to provide trusted advice when their banking clients reach out to them and identify key stakeholders in potential new matters.
In other areas of the firm, Encompass has been embraced for the ease-of-use and productivity it provides. We heard this perspective from Analyst, Mark Tippet, whose recent experience using Encompass to work on a matter concerning a mining services company, formed the basis of one of our latest case studies.
In this case, Ferrier Hodgson were appointed as Administrators for a large mining services company and needed an immediate understanding of the company’s business, property, affairs and financial circumstances. Encompass provided a head start on building a full and complete understanding of all of the people, companies and property involved, which ultimately meant Ferrier Hodgson were able to act quickly to secure better outcomes for creditors.
